I think I will use data collection such as survey tools as a teacher by asking questions about how they feel about class content. Receiving feedback from students is important because if none of the students are connecting with how the teacher is teaching the material then something needs to change from the educators standpoint. For example if I am fourth grade teacher going over a reading comprehension lesson and I decide to have the class popcorn read a book. But I put out a survey asking how the class feels about that and the entire class says that gives them too much anxiety and takes away from the focus of the lesson then I will have to readjust the plan.

I found the topics of distance learning and the experience of creating a website design very interesting because all the different perspectives. Everyone likes and dislikes different things about distance learning and its intriguing to compare and contrast my experience from others. I found it difficult to create my own website design that felt true to myself and that all fit into a pleasing aesthetic. Because of this I loved reading how other accomplished this task easier than me or had the same struggle.

A technology related skill I would love to learn next is mastering and finding shortcuts using Word Excel worksheet. I always see teachers use this and my mom who works in a school is constantly using this program, but I have never used it. Because of this it would be exciting to dive into something completely new for myself and have so much to learn. Also, getting to see all the different purposes for using excel and finding out how it makes a teacher's life easier would be interesting.
